Borra estas 190 aplicaciones de tu móvil cuanto antes

No es la primera vez que alertamos sobre la necesidad de desinstalar, a la mayor brevedad posible, una importante ristra de aplicaciones móviles. La mayoría de veces por enmascarar lo que se conoce como 'malware', un código malicioso diseñado para tomar el control de nuestros dispositivos, vaciarnos la cuenta bancaria o sustraernos información sensible.

La última remesa de aplicaciones afectadas se ha localizado en la plataforma de Huawei (App Gallery). Si bien la compañía ya ha procedido a retirar las 190 referencias que listamos más abajo, cabe la posibilidad de que hubiésemos instalado alguna con anterioridad.

Todas ellas albergan un troyano conocido como 'Android.Cynos.7.origin', el cual espía nuestra bandeja de mensajes para el envío de SMS premium. También es capaz de descargar, instalar y ejecutar aplicaciones sin nuestro consentimiento, con el único propósito de recabar la mayor cantidad de datos posible.

Estas apps se han descargado más de 9,3 millones de veces alrededor del globo, tratándose la mayoría de juegos aparentemente inofensivos:
